Following our recent trip to Berlin we’re taking a look at the history of the city’s cinematic depictions. Now we’ve seen it for ourselves it’s time to look at the way the city’s cultural identity was shaped by it’s rich cinematic history, which may even change the way we view Berlin and it’s past.
This tragicomedy is a self-ironic portrait of a young man who drops out of university and ends up wandering the streets of the city he lives: Berlin. The film deals with the desire to participate in life and the difficulty to find one’s place.
