The Cube Cinema

This event is co-hosted at The Cube by Bristol Radical Film Festival (BRFF) and Labour Behind the Label (a not for profit fighting for the rights of garment workers). BRFF host a regular screening at the Cube, every first Monday of the month, where they screen a political film and discuss the film after. Come and get involved!
UDITA (Arise) is a feature length, observational documentary covering 5 years with the female garment workers at the grass roots of the industry in Bangladesh. From 2010, when organising as workers was illegal, through the tragedies of Tazreen and Rana Plaza and up to the present day, as the women of Bangladesh mobilise en masse to demand a better life.

The film-makers, the Rainbow Collective will be holding a Q&A session after the film.
