Nikki (of campaign group SWAN) and Theo (of well known band Seize the Day) will be on trial this Tuesday (8th September) in Plymouth.
They locked-on to a car parked across the entrance of Plymouth Dockyard which berths Trident submarines and cuts up old nuclear-powered submarines. They did this to protest the UK Trident nuclear weapons system.
See facebook page https://www.facebook.com/events/425170174311253/ Court Support for the Trident Two!
There will be transport from Bristol – We’ll be at our Truthout Cinema 6-8pm Monday at the Arts House Cafe on Stokes Croft and aim to leave straight after and drive down to Plymouth. Bring your crash-kit and something for breakfast to share. The trial is booked for one day so will return to Bristol Tuesday evening late.
We’ll ask for donations but no-one turned away for want of funds.
