JOIN US TO DISCUSS HOW WE CAN BUILD A MOVEMENT AGAINST RACISM!

With the frequency and intensity of racist attacks on the rise in the wake of the apparent legitimisation provided by the Brexit vote, is there any connection between these attacks and Britain’s state racism towards migrants, refugees and other nonwhite-coded citizens? Do states that wage war for profit abroad need racism at home? Why are Muslims constantly vilified in the media? And what role do the police play in this capitalist system?

In this meeting we will be thinking about the roots of racism in Britain as well as the role its continued existence plays in British imperialist capitalism today, and more importantly, how do we build a movement against racism in Britain?

Join us for a talk and discussion on these questions and many more – all are welcome!
