Bridges for Communities, in partnership with the Syrian Community in the South West, would like to invite you to this special event, which aims to bring communities across Bristol together to show solidarity with those affected by the conflict in Syria, and to raise awareness of ways in which you can help.
Come along if you would like to:
– hear from members of the Syrian community in Bristol
– find out about different ways that people are responding to the crisis, including the Citizens UK initiative to resettle refugees
– contribute towards the work of Human Concern, building shelters for those displaced by the conflict
All of this will take place over a delicious Arabic meal at Lona Restaurant.
Cost: £12 per head (doesn’t include drinks) / £8 concessions. Please note that there will also be an opportunity to donate towards our partner charity Human Concern if you would like to.
PLEASE BOOK YOUR PLACE BY FOLLOWING THE LINK UNDER ‘TICKET URL’ TO OUR BOOKING FORM (payment is to be made on the night, but we need to have confirmed numbers for the restaurant).
THERE ARE LIMITED PLACES, SO PLEASE BOOK ASAP.
