A History Of Kebele – 1995 to 2015
Squatted in September 1995, and now owned & run by a small Community Co-op backed up by a crew of volunteers, Kebele remains an anarchist experiment in progress.
This workshop, starting at 7.30pm, will trace Kebele’s evolution over 20years, providing some analysis and context within the wider Bristol social movements, and a few stories too. There’ll be plenty of time for discussion, plus we’ll be joined by one of the original Kebele squatters talking about the first few crazy years!
The workshop is a part of Kebele’s NovemberFest ‘Mellow Mondays’ – a space to hang out, chat, drink, read books, play any board games you may care to bring etc. There’ll also be a ‘Bodywork’ (massage) taster session. Mellow Mondays run from 7-10pm, all welcome. Free entry as ever.
