Join Bristol Women’s Voice for our Annual General Meeting at The Station, Silver Street, BS1 2AG on Tuesday 22nd September.

Doors will open from 7pm for light refreshments and networking.

At 7:30, we are pleased to announce our key note speaker, Zoe Williams, feminist columinist, Guardian journalist and renowned author. Zoe will be discussing feminism and incisively linking political topics that occupy our current landscape. She will bring together thoughts about how we can get our voice heard and offer insights into a better, more equal future.

Joining Zoe will be Bristol Against Austerity, a group of young women who organised a 3,000 strong protest in Bristol against the austerity agenda. They will be discussing why they decided to organise a protest, how they built a successful campaign and managed to get over 3000 demonstrators along with little notice and how important it is for young women to get their voice heard.

As this is Bristol Women’s Voice Annual General Meeting, our Chair Penny Gane will also be discussing BWV activities over the last year and how women of Bristol can get involved in positive action to address inequality in the coming years. Please note that as this is our Annual General Meeting, this event is for women only.

We are asking individuals to register their attendance.
