10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Bristol PSC’s annual sponsored walk is raising funds this year for the The Olive Harvest Trust and Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
Meet on the Centre at 10:00 for a 10:30 departure for a gently paced FIVE mile walk around the harbour to Ashton Court where we will have a picnic (bring food to share). Bring flags and wear keffiyahs, t-shirts etc representing Palestine if you can. As we walk through the city we will talk to people we encounter about what we are doing and why – and ask for donations.
Most importantly get sponsors for your walk. For a sponsorship form email BristolPSC@gmail.com. Money collected will be shared equally between The Olive Harvest Trust (oliveharvesttrust.org) and PSC (palestinecampaign.org).
The Olive Harvest Trust helps vulnerable schools in the Occupied West Bank, providing new classrooms, science, video and recreatioanl equipment. Trustees visit the region regularly to connect with partners on the ground at the same time as helping with the olive harvest.
Palestine Solidarity Campaign campaigns at national and local level for peace & justice for Palestinians, in support of human rights & against all racism.
If you are prevented from joining the walk please consider making a donation – cheques made payable to “Bristol Palestine Solidarity Campaign” posted or taken to B-PSC, Hydra Books, 34 Old Market, Bristol, BS2 0EZ.
